Saint Sorlin d`Arves is in the heart of the Alps in the Sybelles region opposite the formidable Aiguilles d`Arves. It is a traditional village resort which gets large quantities of both sun and snow. It is ideal for all winter mountain sports. There are more than 90km of pistes ranging from 1500 to 2600 metres. The resort can accommodate all levels of skiers as well as those wishing to take part in other mountain sports.
The ski area Super Grand Large lminks together six resorts, Le Corbier, St Jean d`Arves, La Toussaire, Les Bottières, St Sorlin d`Arves and St Colomban des Villards which totals a massive 225km of skiing in spectacular surroundings. You can also try snowshoeing and dog sleigh rides.

BY CAR:
A43 Chambéry-Maurienne, exit St Jean de Maurienne, follow Vallée de L`arvan via D926.
BY TRAIN:
Stop at St Jean de Maurienne, 4h00 from Paris.
Bus and taxi connection to Saint Sorlin d`Arves (22 km).
BY PLANE:
Lyon Saint-Exupéry, Chambéry-Aix, Genève and Torino.

St Sorlin is a resort in full development but respectful of its charms & authencity. We recommand it for families. Prices are not too high from what we saw.
